   Rapid City does not require a general business license. The city's own licensing page states that the Finance Office requires a business license only for these types: Adult Oriented Business, Central Station Service, Ice Cream Vendor, Pawn / Precious Metals and Gems / Second Hand, Refuse Hauling, Security, Sidewalk Vending, Taxi, Transportation Network, or Alcohol Related Business/Event (Finance Office, 605-394-4143). 2. Pressure Washing Wastewater Rules - No Rapid City or Pennington County Stormwater Permit

   Neither Rapid City nor Pennington County issues a stormwater discharge permit, wastewater disposal plan approval, or environmental registration for pressure washing businesses; there is no such permit product and no fee. Pennington County's Storm Water page describes the county's own MS4 permit and Storm Water Management Program, jointly managed by the Planning and Highway Departments and covering unincorporated areas - it is the county's permit for its system, not a permit businesses apply for.
