San Antonio / Bexar County Requirements
Bexar County Assumed Name (DBA) Certificate
Sole proprietorships and partnerships operating under a trade name must file an Assumed Name Certificate with the Bexar County Clerk. File at the Paul Elizondo Tower, 101 W. Nueva, Ste. B110, at any Southside Annex location, or at Records on the Run locations.
San Antonio Development Services Department Permit
The City of San Antonio does not require a general business license, but certain landscaping projects (grading, drainage, commercial site work) require permits from the Development Services Department. San Antonio Certificate of Occupancy (if operating commercial location)
