2. City of Santa Fe Animal Services Division -- Professional Animal Care Permit (Grooming)

   Dog grooming businesses operating within the City of Santa Fe must obtain a Professional Animal Care Permit from the CITY of Santa Fe Animal Services Division (not Santa Fe County) before operating a grooming parlor/service, per City Code Chapter V. The permit expires December 31 each year and must be renewed by February 1. If the business also boards animals overnight, the boarding-kennel category applies separately.
