Minnesota Statutes chapter 146A expressly lists body work, massage, and massage therapy among complementary and alternative health care practices, which are overseen by the Office of Unlicensed Complementary and Alternative Health Care Practice at the Minnesota Department of Health; that office investigates complaints and enforces prohibited conduct, and practitioners must give clients the statutory practitioner disclosure and client bill of rights.
