Georgia Agency (Business Entity) Insurance License - Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire
Every insurance agency with a Georgia business address must be licensed as a business entity producer. Each agency location must have at least one licensed agent whose primary place of business is that location and who holds the same lines of authority the agency seeks, designated as the Responsible Individual. An Agency Name Approval Acceptance Letter is required first if the name contains a restricted word (Assurance, Annuity, Benefit, Insurance, Life, Medical, and similar).
