   Juneau has no local health department issuing food permits — the state permit comes from Alaska DEC's Food Safety and Sanitation Program, and CBJ Community Development handles the land-use side. CBJ's Building Division wants to know how the truck gets power, how it gets water, and what happens to gray water; most operators use a generator, a water tank, and a contractor to pump gray water. Food trucks must meet the property's setback requirements and provide one parking space per 200 square feet of restaurant space.
